One of the novels I took with me to the Cape was Hot Springs by Stephen Hunter. It is a fictional tale of the end of the illegal casinos in Hot Springs. Tho fictional it names several of the clubs--the Ohio Club, the Southern Club and others and as an avid illegal collector with chips from those and other clubs mentioned in the book, it was a fun read. I recommend it.
