Re: wanted Replacement Silver Strike Cases

Check out JP's Corner www.jpscorner.com or Cassidy Frames www.cassidyframes.com. They both have very wide selections of AirTites holders for chips tokens and coins of all sizes. The holders I use for Silver Strikes are larger and use a black or white (your choice) ring to hold the chip. They are actually better than the original direct fit capsules. I noticed that the original holders have a little slot in them, for opening the capsule. That allows air into the capsule and causes the outside rings to darken and turn color. I haven't been using them long enough, to be sure, but I think the AirTites may be at least slowing this discoloration if not stopping it.

Cassidy's website, last night, indicated that they are closed for vacation till July 16. They do have a huge selection of frames and mattes that you can display your chips in. Also they have jewelry(keychains, money clips etc.) that will hold chips. Both dealers also sell cards that will hold your chip holders. These cards have a velvet like finish on one side and a smooth finish on the other. They conveniently fit in small boxes that both dealers also sell. Each box will hold 20 chips or 10+ Silver Strikes. The strikes are thicker and can not be put in every slot. You have to space them every other slot. You can fit two SSs together but if you go to three they exceed the spacing of the slots. If you go two space two space... you will only get 8 per box. I have stretched the capacity of these boxes to fit 11 tokens per box by doubling up at one end.
