Disregarding the miserable loss at Harvey's Poker room ($78.00,) it was a most enjoyable day/evening.

Sure wish I could find out who that "Ganef" (thief, for those not in the know) is that bought all these brass chips from under me just hours before I got to the cage. The good news is that the gal said that they keep on getting more. Forgot to ask her how that is possible if they are no longer redeemable (or maybe it was Harrah's that said that.) In any case, I will keep on trying.

The last time I got some from Harrah's was in Reno. Guess I'll try them next week.

Talked to the reservations clerks at some of the casino's and asked them for some room keys. They thought what everyone else know about me anyway, that I was some kind of nut. Then I explained to them why I wanted them and they thought it unique as they never heard of trading slot/door keys before.

Hopefully we will have a new club member soon--a cashier at Ceasars with who I spoke to for a short time. He has been collecting Caesars chips for quite awhile.

All in all, the people in Tahoe were so much more friendly then those in Las Vegas, but I guess that is the same difference between people in small towns vs. all major cities.

Can't wait until the 28th to return for our NorCal meeting. Mel, I'll bring your chips with me then.
