I'm going on vacation next week and I told one of my regular players I would be visiting his hometown. He graciously invited me to stay at his home and play at his (he is the President and CEO) Country Club. Later that day, one of my co-workers told me what a nice little club it was. He had visited a few months ago himself. A membership is the low, low price of $270,000 + monthly dues. The real kicker to me was this did not include playing any golf! You still pay $200 per person to play. He did say however, this included your valet fee ( a $50 value!), caddie for the day (no carts, you walk), and lunch or dinner for you and your caddie in the restaurant. I never knew there were such bargains out there. Golf anyone?
