Howard Stern ran a death pool on his show a few months back. Each member of the show made a list of 25 or so celebrities. If one of the celebrities died, they would get points equal to 100 minus the age of the person who died. For example, if Bob Hope died, he would be worth about 5 points (he's around 95 now, isn't he?). A young rock star who overdosed at age 25 would be worth 75 points. Whoever had the most points after a few months won the pot, which was worth 20 or 30 thousand dollars. I'm not sure of the results.
