Not sure what to call this card...

While in Laughlin last Saturday night we decided to stay for the night. Using a pay phone in the lobby of the Colorado Belle, I called their 800 number, which connects to their call center in the basement. (Seems you can't just call them from the Courtesy Phone, or on a local number, go figure.)

Anyway, I asked for a room for the night, they looked up our slot club rating and said that we could have a COMP'ed room, and anything else we wanted.

When I walked the twenty feet or so to the check-in desk they already had the confirmation number and checked us in. Part of the paperwork was the 3" x 5" card as shown in the scan. The card is printed on paper, and after they fill-in the room number, number in party, the check-out date and have me sign it, it then gets laminated.

For dinner we decided to try the card out. We went to the Orleans restaurant (the best that the Belle has to offer) and without reservations we were given a table (and yes, people without reservations were being turned away).

Both of us ordered the Filet and Lobster Tail, appetizers, salads and soft drinks, but were too full for desert. Even still, the bill totaled $125.00! It was COMP'ed!!! and we got to retain the card. It was still valid for breakfast Sunday morning.

Well, the card is now expired, but my questions are:

Do other casinos do this, and what are the cards called?
