Is it ok to store my chips in one of those Gladware storage containers, I keep the container tightly closed and stored in a plastic file cabinet in the dark part of my closet? Most of the chips that I own have were placed in a cardboard type holder with a clear plastic center (See Below), Are these chips safe or should I take them out and just store them loosely in the gladware container.

After reading some of HORROR the stories here about chips getting damage while be stored I've gotten very paranoid about the safety of my chips.
