Don't forget the SLOT CARD CONTEST!!

Is anybody going to enter my contest? I hope to get some interest in this puzzle, and it doesn't cost anything but an e-mail stamp to enter! (Hah - that's a joke, son!)

Here you have a special picture of a great handful of old, rare slot cards, each of which I picked up when I visited the casinos in question. I am presenting a contest and to answer the question you all are about to e-mail me, NO these are not the prizes. The prize is a package of a dozen cards from all over the country, including some from the hard-to-get midwest indian and riverboat casinos.

How do you win? Note that each of the cards has a letter. The winner is the person who lists the most cards, A through I, in the order in which they were issued to me! Which did I get first -- second, etc. Can you slot card experts figure out which cards are the oldest? After you put the 9 letters in the correct order, as a tie breaker, list the years I got each of the five oldest cards. (A hint - I did not get the 9 cards in 9 different years - some of these samples were obtained less than 12 months apart.)

Entries can be e-mailed to me with a "Contest Guess" heading and there is only one entry per person. If you are not a big card expert named Lamb or Scalzo, you can still take a shot! All entries must be made before 10PM Central Time, Tuesday July 2nd.

I will even give you a clue: The oldest card was a place I drove to. ((Geez Jerry, what kind of a lousy clue is that? You've driven to every place in the midwest you've ever visited. You've driven to Mississippi, Deadwood, Colorado and New Orleans. Practically every trip you've taken to Las Vegas you've rented a car and driven around to places!)) Oh -- well, how about a real clue -- the oldest slot card isn't a slot card. Do you know what that means?
