Re: EBAY - FREE LISTING OF CHIPS

Very true when you say "I've noticed more and more auctions in the chip category on Ebay are

getting no bids. The majority of listings are no longer real auctions, but

people offering current chips at inflated prices. It's getting harder and harder

to plow through all the junk. Just one man's opinion, others may vary. "

Most of the chips offered on ebay shouldn't be in an auction; they should be in an on-line fixed price sales catalog. The only justification for putting them on eBay is to somehow advertise your on-line sales catalog.

I wonder what the future will be like -- something will have to be done to separate the wheat from the chaff; maybe the answer is for eBay to change its search engines so one could go to a category like "casino chips" and allow buyers to plug in a minimum amount to segregate the higher priced chips, or to arrange an option so the "casino chips" category can be put in descending value order.
