If your planning to visit Reno in the very near future you should bring your own fresh air 'cause there ain't none here. The smoke from the fire is horrible, a red sunrise in the morning and a red sunset, that's if you can see it through the smoke. I live in the northwest side of town and the smoke is heaviest in the morning along with the fine dusting of soot and ash that falls over night. During the afternoon the winds shift to the southwest and the south end of town gets their dose of smoke and ash. If you can find a satillite photo of this fire and smoke plume wil will see what I mean.
