This arodie with RGS stamped on it was at one time passed off as maybe coming from the Red Garter Saloon in Virginia City. The owner of that establishment recently said "poppy cock!" OK, back to the UFC pile.

I've been doing some research for Jim Blanchard's book. Seems there may be some small reason to believe arodie mold chips were produced in Reno by Reno Game Supply before the mold appeared in Las Vegas in 1954 at Precision Inc. Here's an ad from the 1953 Reno phone book.

OK, here's the stretch. Is it possible the RGS chip above was a salesman's sample chip from Reno Game Supply? What better way to show off your mold and hot stamping capabilities!
