Cal-Neva (HISTORY) question:

Since the USPC records tell us that the Crest and Seal series came into use in 1937 (after the lodge was rebuilt), what was used for the 10-years prior to the fire?

One other point I would like to make: Though records "show" us that the $25 chip was is the highest denomination known, it's very hard for me to believe that a $100 chip (or even a $50) was not made.

Research (chip finds) tells us that the USPC records are not compete (or even being close to complete for the production dates noted) as many denominations and colors have turned up from other casinos not seen in the records.

I have an idea that may answer the question, but I'd rather kick the question around, first. grin
