Hello Jim, yes, we are members...my # is R-4848. My wife and I attended the convention at the Tropicana the last 2 years, and were fortunate enough to meet many old friends...and make several new ones as well while signing up new users to JackpotAuctions.com.
JackpotAuctions.com is based in Las Vegas, NV and was created by 4 chippers. We have been collecting since the 70's, and like most other collectors we have been buying and selling on other online auction houses for quite some time now. With all the recent increases in fees, along with the new limitations on freedoms such as including links to websites...we decided to launch our own internet auction house.
We talked with many other chippers to find out what they wanted in an online auction house, and are trying our best to accomodate everyones request...including:
LOWER FEES: Our fees are very low, only 25 cents to list...and 25 cents commission on the sale, regardless of the final selling price.
Note: For the first 30 days,(June 1st -July 1st)..there are NO FEES whatsoever!
PRIVACY: No email addresses or contact info is ever sold, and no info is shared or released to anyone besided another member that you are involved in a transaction with.
TRUST: We do NOT require sellers to keep their credit card on file. Seller fees are billed once a month, and they can be made by check.
SELLER FEATURES: We have implemented several features to make the sellers job easier and more productive. The seller can set the exact time the his/her auctions close...so they can make their ads at their convenience, and have them close at whatever time they desire. If you have ever listed auctions, you will know that this is a very valuable feature since most sellers want their ads to end during "prime time"...and they also want to have dinner with their wife and/or family. Now they can do just that!
BONUSES FOR BIDDERS:
We give away a DAILY JACKPOT each and every day valued at $25 to $50...this is good for both the buyer and seller. The DAILY JACKPOT is randomly selected from all winners for that particular day. The seller gets more bids...the bidder can win a nice bonus!
We also give away 3 monthly JACKPOTS"
1 to the seller that lists the most items.
1 to the bidder that wins the most items.
and 1 to a randomly selected registered user.
Each Monthly JACKPOT is $100 in CASH.
This encourages more listings, and more bidding...again, good for both sides.
