I have no problem with awarding a First, Second, Third Place COTY/TOTY/SSOTY in 2002. How about convincing the new Board to authorize it? Can't change the rules in midstream.... or after the fact.

Now is the time to submit proposals to the Board for changes in the contest. I'll abide by whatever direction the Board gives if I'm chosen as the 2001 COTY/TOTY/SSOTY Chairman. The only thing I will not consent to is sending ballots to the entire membership. I strongly believe that only those who express a genuine interest in this annual contest (by submitting their nominations) should be on the judging committee to decide the eventual winner(s).
