Security Features on Tahoe chips

Maybe this security feature has been used elsewhere but I had not noticed it before. When I was playing at Caesars, it saw markings in a white box on the $100 chips. At first I thought it was a bar code for sorting, but with a glass you can make out the Paul-son name repeated several times, along with the denomination. Later I saw the same technique was used on the Harveys $100's and up.

Paul-son security marking I've seen then are:

  • rim marking of repeated maker's name and $xx
  • microdot with repeated maker's name
  • drilled and filled hole (with hidden marks??)

Anyone know of others?

Below is a pic of the Harvey's 100 with the marking magnified.
