You gotta bridge for sale?

Park Place to Link Claridge With Other NJ Casinos, Paper Says

(Bloomberg) -- Park Place Entertainment Corp. will modernize the Claridge Casino Hotel and link it with two other Atlantic City casinos as part of a plan to create an entertainment complex, the Star-Ledger, of Newark, New Jersey, reported.
The company will probably add new slot machines and modernize hotel rooms after it buys the bankrupt Claridge next week, the paper said, citing Chief Financial Officer Scott LaPorta. A $25 million bridge will be built between Claridge's casino floor and the hotel lobby of Park Place's Bally's Atlantic City.
The connector will be large enough to include shops. Bally's already is connected to Park Place's Caesars Atlantic City by a bridge. Park Place also will expand its Atlantic City Hilton and may build a fifth casino that caters to a younger crowd, the paper reported.
Park Place is being pressured from two $1 billion casinos planned for the Marina District and other companies seeking to expand, the paper said.
