This week we ran a Sammy Davis Jr. $5 chip as one of our weekly auctions. This was one of a four-piece set released by Harrah's satellite casinos as part of their Millennium set.

We received an e-mail from a lady wanting to know if it was a "buy it now" auction because she wanted it for a birthday gift. We replied that is was not but we had an extra if she wanted it. She immediately sent us payment by PayPal and the chip was mailed the next day.

A few days later we received this reply "I received the chip today!! Just in time, too...as I leave for Las Vegas tomorrow. I needed the "Sammy" chip to frame along with the current Harrah's chip of Clint Holmes. Clint is currently the headliner at Harrah's Las Vegas, and has been a friend of mine for 20 years..so this makes the perfect birthday gift for him..He was a friend of Sammy's and I think he will really appreciate having this..."

Just wanted to share this with everyone, nice to know our little piece of the clay will make someone feel good.
