When I find a chip or even a couple of chips that are for sale in a flea market/antique store--I have no doubts about how to proceed. Today in a San Antonio Antique Store I came across several bags of Illegals. 25 Maumee Club (OHMAU03) $20.; 35 EastSide Club (MSEAS03) $40.; 3 Club Forest Chips $40.; 30 Maple Grove (??) Pink, SM-KEY $25.;
45 T & C HUB chips. White. $10.; and about 30 UFC's at $8. The dealer has all the identified ones (ala Hertel) priced at Hertel's prices. The total comes close to $3000. He offered me all of them for $2000. I would love to get my hands on them but not for those prices. Does anyone have a rule of thumb about how much to offer for chips that come in these quantities? Any suggestions? Any ideas? Thanks. Doug
