... kind, friendly and sociable -- and it's not as
though PACK is comprised of a group who are not
mostly already CCGTCC members... a lot more than I
can say for some of our chapters. So there
is no reason to get all bent out of shape if our
club decides to utilize space for a cause
that full-fledged chapters have not even thought
of asking for.

As I said in my response to Archie's post, it's
not as though our club is extending every chapter
benefit to PACK; only a room -- which doesn't cost
our club one additional cent to be occupied for
the length of time it will.

One perfect example of hospitality (being
neighborly) which both Janice and Archie can
relate to is our club being offered a free room
for as long as an entire day by one of the largest
Numismatic clubs in the world, where Archie,
Janice (and the guy she brings along ) and I
have hosted our club table on that show's midway.

The Florida United Numistmatists (FUN) offers us
this fully-equipped swap room (not our unofficial CCGTCC meeting room) which is in most
cases available for the duration of a full day.
Yes, we purchase from FUN a club table on the the
floor, but that's it (except for the meeting room)... they owe us nothing more
than that table for the 4-days as we owe those who
purchas tables on our convention floor show
nothing more than the table.

There are no provisions expressed in the FUN writ
agreement that a bunch of wild and crazy chip
collectors who so very few belong to FUN (of which
not one has even tought of thanking FUN)
will have the run of a room at no additional
cost... and by the way,
there is not one FUN officer, or member, who
complains why must a club whose members do not
even belong to FUN get to use a room that the dues
paying FUN members use.

Let's wake up folks... and let's realize how lucky
we are.
