I've been trying to talk the Caesar's Indiana/Louisville boat to do a Derby chip. They didn't seem too hip to the idea of commemmorative chips, but when the millennium chip appeared I figured they'd get around to a Derby chip one of these years. Who told you they were going to do it?

I've done freelance writing for the Churchill programs and frequented the Caesars boat, and hoped the two would get together on this. The twin spires are trademarked though royalties of 15% arent' bad. I wish the casinos would splurge and pay it, but the crop of Derby chips looks pretty good this year anyway. I will challenge Gene Trimble to do a commemmorative series of chips with the new Palms Hotel Casino featuring Triple Crown winners - starting with Secretariat. Don't know if it is doable.
