when my 'old' desktop died, I could not recuperate
my old emails from all my friends.
It might be possible if I could take the harddisk out and tried it on someone elses pc. We tried it but as it is such a old HD it did not fit in his pc....
Good luck in restoring everything....
One good thing maybe the convention is less than a month away....
