Brian,
The Sands also had a third $1.00, hot stamped, blue house mold chip that it used in its poker room. Most of them are very worn.
Since the poker room was very small (maybe six to eight tables) I believe THIS CHIP is or could be worth more that the other orange or blue $1.00 chips.
I would guess maybe the poker room had 2000 of these chips (20 racks) with none in the cage. The problem was finding ones with better hot stamps.
"Swede" ran the poker room at the end. Since my friend and I knew him he let us go through the racks to find the better hot stamped chips. We took one rack out with "silver" looking hot stamps that should have been gold <g>. I guess you get the picture. Best, Jim
