Your silver strikes are NOT...

frauds, they are real silver strikes.

Your chip wasn't exactly a fraud either. Just another one of the many many many fantasy chips out there that many a seller doesn't know what they are. And some buyers not knowing what they are buying.

For the silver strikes, I have always had a MAJOR complaint regarding the Bi-Metallic tokens, specifically the $10 and $20 varieties, which are part of the Anchor Coin (Gaming) program.

These tokens are NOT solid silver and most collectors understand that. Yet several sellers don't know what they have and some buyers don't know either.

The $10 tokens are in reality a .999 Fine Silver center which was inserted into a highly polished brass ring, which is very often mistaken for being "Gold Plated" which it isn't. Nor are the tokens 1 oz.. They usually weigh in at over 1.2 troy oz. and the center being just over 0.5 troy oz.

The $20 tokens are different in that they are a Bronze center which is Gold Plated surrounded by a .999 Fine Silver outer ring.

However, as I did mention your shipping charges in the previous message I'll follow up here.

If you aren't sending them US Priority postal mail the charges seem quite high by most collectors. In both your auctions for Silver Strikes you have two different shipping costs. If do ship this way then the $4.20 price isn't considered high if you are sending it in a bubble envelope/with insurance or delivery confirmation.

$3.20 on the Babe Ruth token from Sam's Town Tunica, MS
$4.30 on the Horseshoe token from Las Vegas

Many buyers don't mind the high shipping prices, if what they see actually paid is close to what was actually paid by the seller for shipping. Most buyers probably won't be return buyers if they see that the seller is trying to recover the E-bay seller's fee's by passing them along in high shipping/handling fees.

Although I've seen other auctions that have had even higher shipping costs. IE our high postal cost seller, katz-silver-strikes. $5.00 per item and I've been told that this seller sends them in regular envelopes without insurance even though his description states it is included.

Deborah, hopefully I didn't mean to insult you with my previous post. It's far too rare that we will see someone as forthright and honest as you appear to be, by following up here with a refreshing response to the e-mail you've received from one of our members.
