The really sad part about Tuesday's election (or any
election day) is that not even 50% of registered
voters will be visiting the polls. Here, in this day
and age, one would think there would be more than
one other option to cast one's vote.
Here we have one of the most beautiful privileges in
our society: the right and duty as American citizens
- the right to vote.
The talk concerning which candidate did what to who
or whether time was spent in the can amounts to
nothing more than a hill of beans...it's that little
pin and ballot that you will hold in your own two
hands Tuesday that will amount to something.
May God bless us and keep us strong as the greatest
nation on Earth.
(Wouldn't it be nice if we had a chipper for
president? -- <G>)
