Andy, Clemens was dead wrong but this is the World Series & he was not going to get thrown out a game so important. During the NBA finals I saw guys getting mugged on the court & the player only got to shoot one foul shot!
My wife watches some games with me & can't understand why players scratch in places they don't itch, spit all the time, & chew seeds & spit out the husks. She thinks it's digusting & detracts from the pastoral game. I try to explain to her that it's a guy thing, but she insists it's gross & they should be asked to leave the dugout. Andy, the Mets are made up of guys that the Marlins got rid of during the fire sale after they won the series. Do you really think the Marlins/Mets can beat the Yankees!
