after playing around with the scanner. I managed to make a 'very nice' scan (my humble opinion) of an old plaque from Casino de Vichy , France.
It was a 50.000FF plaque which is overstamped on top with 500 N.F. (new francs) when they had the monetary reform in the early 1960s.
The color came out quite okay. (some times it does sometimes not, the misterys of the scanner ?).
