Slow weekend chipwise, and the only significant thing I brought home yesterday was a HEADACHE. But I have a few questions:

Chip 1: CA.?? Paid a quarter for this one (which probably means I paid too much )- and took me 15 minutes to figure out these are mermaids.

Chip 2: WHITEHORSE... ID? Location? Anything?
I kinda figured maybe it is one of those "medical ID chips" like the bracelets people wear - but for animals. The reverse has WHITEHORSE'S choice of tonic: BOTTLE BEER.

ok... so maybe it's a "good for" chip instead?

CHIPS 'da REST: Guy had 3 bags of these squirelled away like pennies in grade schoolers sock. He wouldn't sell them "because they're OLD" and might be "worth a fortune". I convinced him to sell me 6 (and I KNOW I paid too much ) - but have a few questions:

Are these bakelite? I don't have any Scrubbing Bubbles (got Tilex! Got Soft Scrub... got Ajax!)and I smoke so NOTHING smells bad to me - so ???

I see this type of chip all the time ~ usually in red ~ white ~ blue ~ black. (thought the yellow and green were kinda pretty - saw some teal somewhere else.) These aren't worth anything really, are they? Maybe in full sets? With holders? Spent some time on molds/ media web-sites last night ~ but could use a little:

"Bakelite chips ~ 'Great or Garbage?' 101".
