ICG Admission on COMMON CHIPS

Current CC & GTCC Club magazine pg. 18

"Sure there will be many rare chips in which the owners will choose not to slab their chips, and yes, some will choose to have common chips slabbed"

I hope that ICG's (Keith Love, President) admission regarding the slabbing of "Common Chips" (And I believe the correct term would be "Current Chips") will put the "ISSUE TO REST," that the people who support slabbing keep stating that "Common Chips" or "Current Chips" won't be slabbed.

ICG or PCGS will slab any casino chip sent to them for a FEE. They want YOUR MONEY!.

I also see these SLABBED Current Chips going the way the SLABBED Current Baseball Cards have gone. A major difference in price for

CHIP STATE 69 to CHIP STATE 70

Where the chip submitted is only submitted in hopes of getting that all elusive CHIP STATE 70

Looking at Slabbed Baseball Cards and Slabbed Coins, "IN MY OPINION", I do believe that the Slabbing companies have a vested interest in keeping the MINT GEM 10's and MS-70 items in the scarce to rare category.

When the slabbing companies do start slabbing the Current Chips on a regular basis, I wonder just how many will ever see CHIP STATE 70?
