"The official 1999 blackbook price guide to united states paper money thirty-first edition" lists 1957 silver certs as follows:
1957 Priest-Anderson UNC $5
1957A Smith-Dillon UNC $6
1957B Granahan-Dillon UNC $5.25

The following three notes are the last issue of the $1 silver certificates. The reason for the change in series from 1935H to 1957 was due to printing improvements. The 1935 series, up until the issue of Clark and Snyder, was printed in sheets of twelve subjects to a sheet. During the term of Clark and Snyder notes were printed eighteen subjects to a sheet. Starting with Series 1957, new high-speed rotary presses were installed and notes were printed thirty-two subjects to a sheet.
Not sure if this helps you but is directly from the book. It does not mention a premium for consecutive notes so I am of no help there. Good luck with your quest for information.
