I think you're out of line to bash John Yee personally over that ad. Although I haven't talked to John about it, I'm pretty sure John was just following the club policies regarding advertising in the magazine. It's up to club officers to set policies for the club and for the magazine. As Archie stated in another thread, the current board discussed slabbing and didn't take action. They're the ones that are allowing slabbers in the convention and in the magazine. Attacking the volunteers that put a tremendous amount of effort into putting on our convention and putting out our magazine is destructive to the club. For those of us who oppose slabbing, myself included, our beef is with the current club officers. Hopefully the new officers will take a more anti-slabbing position.
