My Recent Trip to Las Vegas....

The General and I had a few beers at the Palace Bar (Four Queens), while he lamented his concern for his Customers. Like others, he too was limited to 5 of the Tax Chips. Aside from the Pros and Cons of this development, and all the other implications and everything else, I know that Chuck feels bad for the people that will not be receiving this particular chip from him.

I also had the opportunity to get with Ralph Myers. He and his wife we so kind and gractious to have my wife and myself over to their beautiful home for a visit. The pictures that Ralph puts up of the cars do not do them justice. The same can also be said of the Playboy Bunnys! vbg

On the chipping front, not too much action. I needed to layoff my losing ways (Hold 'em was very bad to me), so I went for a ride/walk. Excalibur to MGM Grand by foot. MGM Grand to Bally's by Tram. Bally's to Barbary Coast, to Flamingo, to Paris, to Aladdin, to Boardwalk, to Monte Carlo to NY NY, to Excalibur ON FOOT!

At the Boardwalk the person in the cage did not understand English. "Do you have any new, uncirculated one dollar chips?" I asked. He was confused, befuddled and bewildered. I was wondering if I had a stroke and couldn't talk very well, as he had the strangest look. I asked again, and again he response was the same. He was lost, so I simply walked away. His expression was contagious, as I was now wearing it. Maybe they have a limit 0.

At the Flamingo I noticed that they had a new rack. (I'm sure that it is only new to me and I some how missed it in the past.) Anyway, I went to the cage to get some "new, uncirculated one dollar" chips and the response was quite different. The cage person said, "No, but I have some uncirculated older chips." It was my turn to be confused, so I said that I wasn't sure what he meant, could I see one? On a counter top behind him was a white box a chips. He pulled one out and showed me. It was the blue, $1 rainbow chip, and it was brand new, uncirculated, fresh from the box. He informed me that the newer rack is void of the "Hilton" name. I guess I have not been paying attention, because I did not know that tidbit. I ask for ten, and many more are left.

That was it. Again, thank you Chuck and Ralph for your kindnesses!
