I think it sat out in the sun at the yard sale to long. Is it posssibly faded & are both sides the exact color? Or maybe washed in bleach or something. Doesn't look dirty & does have edge wear so may of been cleaned with something to strong for the clay composition. I realize this is a clean place so the chips aren't as dirty as say El Cortez, Vegas.
