I've had no voice in the production of this Strike nor have I heard any prior information regarding it.

The first I had heard of it was when you mentioned it here. Then Wayne Thompson verified that the artwork had been sent to the board.

I will definately be most vocal if this Silver Strike was handled in the same manner as the O'Shea's chip set has been.

I still have yet to hear any information regarding the way in which this Silver strike is being released (other than it will be played for in the machine) or its mintage number. You will definately hear me be most vocal if it is released by the Plaza in the manner their 1 of 100 silver strike release was done, where only 100 tokens were made and only 1 was placed in the hopper at each fill of the machine.

I am also thinking that if Anchor Gaming has any say in the release, that it will have to be played for and cannot be purchased at the cage. You might not even be able to trade for it as Janice recently told me that you cannot trade the old "Hollywood Classics" for the new $200 Silver Strike they just released, but you can trade with the NEW series of their Silver Strikes for it.

Dick, while I've written the Nevada Guide on silver strikes, I also collect chips. I've specalized in certain Celebrity chips and all convention chips and tokens which include Chip/Token of the year and each years convention sets offered by the and the Host and Non Host casino chips. I've also provided the Chip/Token of the year scans for the Club BB ( http://www.ccgtcc.com/ctotyaward.htm http://members.home.net/silverstrikes/ctoty.htm ), all in my collection. As you can see as a collectort, I have concerns regarding both these current NON HOST casino issues.

I think you know how vocal I have been concerning the Chip Token of the year contest regarding the Silver Strike of the year. I really believe that ALL members of the Club should have been able to nominate a Silver Strike this year. By containing it within the Silver Striker's chapter membership it leaves out many collectors who may be more chip collectors that have seen a strike they might have liked to nominate but could not, unless they are member of the Silver Striker's chapter.
