Okay, since you asked. You are wrong. (Said with a smile.)I think slot cards are now more fun than anything, including chips. I love trading cards and do so all the time. However, sometimes that just isn't possible. That's why money was invented in the first place - to help facilitate transactions where barter is not possible. I see no problem with placing a value on cards....after all, ebay is doing that every second. Good cards are routinely selling for $20 or more every day. You might wish it weren't so, but facts are facts. Our book is not perfect, it's our first attempt. The next edition will be much better after getting some feedback from PACK members and others. One of the features I like about the book is the checklist box after every card, so that you can keep track of your cards. Those who want to ignore the prices can still use the checklist aspect. Also, I want to point out a typo I made on the back cover. Our book lists over 2200 different cards, not 2500. This will be reflected on the next print run.
