Re: XIT hub mold - ID'd from Texas

I was the one that guessed Texas, thinking it might be related to the XIT Ranch in the Texas panhandle. There still might be a connection. When the cattle went to market, they were probably herded to the famous stockyards in Ft. Worth.

You might want to check with the XIT Museum (URL below) to see if the hot stamp on your chip resembles the XIT brand and/or if Willard White was involved with the ranch in the 1930's.
