Re: 18th Century Gambling Chips

A clarification:

The short time period is specifically for the era that I would be using them. I'm into period reenacting, so I'm trying to find out what would be appropriate for the gentry class in that era.
I saw a set of Federalist-style chips that were made of Ivory. Would mother of pearl be more accurate? I'm trying to find examples to go on.

As for the book you mentioned, I'm not familiar with it, but will give it a look. Thanks for your time.
