On January 19th, Johnny asks us if anybody wants to buy a $100 New China Club chip. I exchanged several emails with him. He wanted me to tell him what it was worth, but he didn't want to tell me anything. From the tone, the implication was that there was only one chip, but that was never said.

About 3 weeks later daithi lists a $100 New China Club chip on eBay. The auction states, "I have sent out feelers on this cheque for about a month and believe it is a one of a kind that NO ONE has." Was Johnny's post a "feeler"?

I think we have nothing here but a lot of unanswered questions. And somebody who paid $3000 for a chip that now appears to be valued at $150. That's gotta hurt!

Are Johnny and daithi the same person or working together? Did daithi buy a chip from Johnny under false pretenses then resell it in good faith? We've never seen a scan of Johnny's chips. Maybe the chips are completely different, the people and events completely unrelated. Why won't Johnny tell us what's going on here?

I think the question you want to ask if you're interested in this chip is, how many will be available at what price next month?
