We most all agree that if one offers a particular chip for sale on the Bulletin Board, no one else should "piggyback" on that particular thread.

I believe that most of us would even hesitate to offer the same chip in another thread if it conflicted with the first offer (meaning before the original offer was in the archives.

But, I am offering a different question. That is, if someone is asking for a particular chip and receives an answer which includes a price, is it unethical for a second or third person to answer on the same thread with a lower price?

I don't think it is but I would like your opinions.
