You are so very right. And the rest of the states will also be affected. It's unfortunate that California can affect the others so much, but it is a fact.

The fact is that the deregulation mandates that the power is sold at the price set by the highest bidder. The biggest concern I have over deregulation is the technical and manpower modifications the utilities had to make. I believe these changes greatly weaken our infrastructure.
