Another find at the Oregon chip show this weekend. This is the 60's experiement at Harrahs to make a $5 chip that would be practical as a $5 slot machine token. The $5 Small-crown table chips was reduced slightly in size and pressed into a metal collar with a knurled rim.

The experiment failed, as the chips liked to fall out of the collar and the clay got beat up rapidly. I was happy to find it as the only way I've been able to find the chip itself was with an ugly drill hole. This one is somewhat dinged up but serves double-duty in my Harrahs collection.
