If you're a Vegas history buff then The Meadows is a nearly sacred casino. Built by a gangster in the early 30's it combined a high class nightclub, casino, hotel and restaurant and this is fifteen years before the Flamingo. I've never before seen a piece of memorabilia from the Meadows. (There's a Meadows Hotel in Las Vegas, New Mexico with some potentially confusing china etc.) Anyway there's a stained, half-used, worn Meadows matchbook on ebay (Item # 1123462332) with a bid value of over eighty bucks with eight days left. Those of you that only collect slabbed matchbooks might want to wait until a MS95 becomes available.
