Another short Roulette story:
In Response To: Re:IT SHORE IS PURTY ... ()

When Doris and Stanly Ellenbogen from Honeoye
NY/W.Palm Beach FL, found the Harolds Club
Roulettes (unknown table/color combinations) there
were 7000-pieces. Stan asked me at a show: "John,
what have I got here?" - I responded, and he allowed me to cherry
pick the "new, right out of the box" chips that
were unlisted. Those were the first to be
distributed in the community before the remainder
of used (O/S) and chipped examples made their way to market.

The chips were sent from Reno to a woman's club
outside of Chicago via Railway Express. I sent
Howdy the original shipping label for his library.
Seven thousand Roulettes (and there were plenty
out there prior to the find) is a lot of
Roulettes... and there are still missing
color/table combinations. grin
