It's just the metal coin inlay out of an old Frontier chip. The story I heard is that these chips were destroyed by burning them. The metal inlay remained after the plastic burned up. A bunch of these were found in the trash (or dump). I don't consider it collectible, other than as an oddity, but others might put some nominal value on it.

Never heard the story about the construction worker, etc. etc. before.
