MACHINED CHIPS? WHO MADE THEM?

Some of my favorite chips are called "machined chips." They have beautiful inlays and the faces are covered with concentric grooves. I got my first in two boxes of chips sold originally by Frank Walters out of Detroit. Until Allan or Dale corrected me, I thought he was a manufacturer. I have six or so from O'Dwyer's an illegal club near N.O. I just picked up another one on eBay. I'll post a scan later but does anyone know the manufacturer? Dale notes and pictures some of them on p. 16 of Antique Gambling Chips but doesn't attribute them.
