I hate putting prices on great old chips!!! I'm better at history. Values of illegal chips are sometimes a little hard to pin down. I've seen these everywhere from $10 to $30 each, depending on the denomination. Hertel's illegals guide lists the 5.00 @ $20. The Wort Hotel still stands in downtown Jackson, Wyoming, definitely a throw back to the "old days." Jackson (and Wyoming in general) was one of the many places across the west that had open gambling back in the 30s and 40s. Cowboys and tourists alike could be found here playing craps and blackjack side by side. No one bothered to enforce the gambling statutes. Remember, Wyoming has the lowest population of any US state! Must have been some good games as I think there is also a $100 denomination in this set. I have a couple postcards of the place around here somewhere that I'd be happy to trade for chips. steve "mr pacific northwest"
