Yes, that is right. I didn't consider that possibility.

My main reason for posting was to make sure people understood the difference between the "no message telltale" and the old method of denoting no text by adding (EOM) or something similar to the end of the subject line. Often, there actually would be text in a message marked (eom) as that (eom) would be carried over when someone replied to the message, but, with the software generated "red x in a circle", it will only appear when there is no text.
