Many of you know me, many newer members may not. Regardless, I have only recently come 'on-line', and have seen much of the 'slabbing' and 'local vs. national debates. That is all well and good. What I do have to say is different, and may be important. Recently I found Robert Eisenstadt's web page., it took me back to my first chip, my first chip phone call, the first chip book I bought, my first convention. I must say, Robert's educational mold collection is very impressive. While the 8 categories loosely follow Seymour's classification, the groupings appear logically organized and probably set a new standard. I had not thought that Borland and Herz could be improved upon to this extent, AND in color. Robert Eisenstadt should win some kind of education award from the CC>CC. As a professional educator I am wholly impressed. Both new and old collectors will benefit from Robert's fine efforts. If you are recruiting new members, want to show family and friends what you are doing in this hobby, or want to print out a free color reference that is an authoritive core on our hobby, visit this site. antiquegamblingchips.com I have never asked my collecting friends and acquaintances for a favor, but I do now:
Dr. Allan M., Dale S., Kevin N., Bill A. (Jr), Gene T., Ed H., Dr. K. Craig, Al K., 'Bad' Bob D., Louis M., J. Munding, Jerry B., Jim E., Greg S., Doug S., Tyrus M., Paul B., Michael K., Ernie W., Avee H., Steve G., Archie B., and many others (you know who you are, space limits this challenge to everyone I know), here is something positive for our hobby, I think Robert needs some kind of recognition or some sort of testimonial for his POSITIVE effort.
