I have purchased a few plaques from an ebay dealer (NOT vegasclarks!) and was satisfied with the transaction. The prices have come down on these vs. the values in TCR. This may be a buying opportunity, as there's not a huge supply out there, but I don't know how many may be in various dealers' inventories. The $20 (most common) used to get face value or a bit more, but now available in the teens to low 20's usually. The $100 (next most common) has dropped in value; the scarcer $50 and $500 have both dropped in value vs. TCR. The $1000 is still pretty tough to find and IMO will remain pretty tough -- maybe half the TCR value if your timing is good. With a little patience, I managed to assemble a 5-piece set (20-50-100-500-1000) a few months ago for about $600, all from eBay purchases. However, the sets in dealer's cases at chip shows are still asking $1000+. I don't know what the lowest value a complete set goes for these days. I do think it's a great set to have in one's collection.
