... news editor William T. Gibbs -- please note the invitation to write to them. Let's do it!

Dear Mr. Black and Mr. Reilly,

As noted in Summer's e-mail to Mr. Reilly, Coin World published a story on the controversy over ICG's grading and slabbing of casino chips in its
March 5 issue, which was closed at noon Monday, Feb. 19, and went into the mail Tuesday, Feb. 20. I've attached a copy of that article.

The article addresses both sides of the controversy, as any good, impartial news article should.

The story is played very prominently, on Page 3. Stories appearing on Pages 1 and 3 each week are those judged by the editorial staff to be the
most important and newsworthy. I believe that the story's placement and its even-handed treatment of the issue clearly indicate no advertiser influence
or concerns. I assure you that as news editor, I never thought about such concerns as I was editing the story and, later, designing the pages on which
it appeared.

Please feel free to contact me once you've read the article. If you care to elaborate upon your concerns, you are welcome to submit a Letter to the Editor (200-word limit) or Guest Commentary (450- to 700-word limit). I will consider all such submissions for publication.
