Monetary Reform Act - colors - shades

Though I'm sure there were reorders during the period from 1979 back to when the last series was first introduced in the 1950s, my scan color is not as accurate as yours, and the chips you illustrate are what my pieces look like, somewhat, as there are different shades in some of the denominations. Even the gold pigment within the denomination has different shades as does the gold in the Atlantic City Golden Nugget chips (for whatever reason; new production or new run).

Your bottom row (center) is a much earlier pieces from the series and was revalued with the o/s comma in 1961-2 when France introduced their Monetary Reform Act where every 100Frf then became 1NF (New franc)

Casinos had the option of reordering a new inventory or adjusting the existing denomination by adding an o/s comma in the denomination or striking the new denomination on the rim or anywhere in the field.

Some collectors prefer the o/s pieces from Frenech casinos during that period, as it's a sure guarantee that the pieces are pre-1961.

There were several series of jetons and plaques made for the casino during their 50-years of operation (1929-1979). If you have pieces other than what you have illustrated, I'd be more than happy to date them.
